Moon Cake

Oh wow this is super wonderful. I got it from my mom and I think that she got it from somebody in my home ward. It is like an open face eclair! Yummy


Moon Cake


Crust:

1 1/4 c water

1 1/4 c flour

1/2 c + 2 T. butter

5 eggs


Bring water and butter to a boil, then stir in the flour and mix well. Take pan of the heat and add one egg at a time. Mix well after each egg. Spread mixture in to a Jelly Roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN !!! DO NOT BREAK BUBBLES!!


Second Layer:

1(8oz) Cream Cheese

3 1/2 c mild

1 (6oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding


Blend Cream Cheese and milk. Mix in the pudding until thick. Pour onto crust. Let set for 20 min in refrigerator.


Top Layer:

cool whip

chocolate syrup


Frost with cool whip; drizzle chocolate syrup over top.
