Philly Cheese Steak Appetizers

This is a personal creation. I had a lot of fun with this one. :) I used it as an appetizer but you can make it into a sandwich and it is still just as yummy! :)
Philly Cheese Steak Appetizers

1 can Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crusty French Loaf
1 Tablespoon Olive oil
1 Small Green Pepper
1 Small Red Pepper
1 Small Yellow Onion
1 Clove of Garlic
1 Package of Au Jus
8 oz Thinly Sliced Roast Beef
1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
¼ teaspoon McCormick® Crushed Red Pepper
¼ + ½ Teaspoon McCormick Fajita Seasoning
¼ teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
1 ½ teaspoon water
Provolone Cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Bake French bread as directed on package
Thinly slice the peppers into strips. Cut off both ends of the onion. Take off first layer of skin, stand on end and cut down the center. Then place flat slice down and thinly slice. Finely minced garlic. Pour olive oil in pan and add the peppers, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and ¼ teaspoon of Fajita seasoning. Sauté on medium-low to medium heat until softened and the onions are translucent. About 15-20 min
Take the package of Au Jus and prepare as directed. When boiling add the 8 oz of meat. (Don’t add it all at once place a few pieces in at a time until cooked and then take out and add more until all cooked)  Turn down heat to just a simmer and add the crushed red pepper, ½ teaspoon of Fajita seasoning, and the Worcestershire and whisk together. Mix in a separate bowl the cornstarch and water. Wisk until all blended. Slowly add to the mixture whisking continually until all blended. Let boil and thicken 5-10 min.
When bread is done and cool, cut on a diagonal in ½ inch pieces and place on cookie sheet. Turn oven to broil and place bread underneath until toasted to a golden color. Pull out of oven and spread sauce mixture on bread then place some cheese on the bread. Place in warm oven until slightly melted. Pull out of oven and place meat and veggie mixture on bread and pour a little more sauce on and serve.
